well bad news today, drivng home the car stalls and shuts off on me while drivng. Start it back up and basically have to rev it to keep it going but then it still shuts off. Car shakes horribly when trying to drive. I mean, it was driving perfectly fine then it statred to stall. Havent driven it hard at all. Was gonna go get it dynoed to see what its running but cant do that now. Got the CEL and dont know what to do. Gonna go check everything again and see whatsup. ANy ideas or suggestions of whats going on?

Sounds like a vacuum leak somehwhere. Make sure the MAF is installed facing the RIGHT way. Check all couplers for leaks. Also make sure the BOV and wastegate vacuum lines are going to the right place.

Sorry to hear this man. I know your excited about being turboed now, I sure wish I was too. Probably just messed up something minor in your install, but its never a good idea to run it without your gauges installed. Make sure you get those in soon. Good luck with the problem, I'm sure it'll get figured out soon. Turbonetics is awesome.

Well it sounds like the same problem I had. Look at your connections in your MAF sensor. Make sure they are tight. See mine where loose. It caused the the sensor to shut off for a split second, but during that split second the computer would dump fuel into the engine ( way to much fuel) causing the car to jump around. Once we fixed the connections the car ran good. But know I have a bad bearing in the turbo. That is being replaced by turbonetics. So re-check everything once you fix the problem. I hope this helps. :D

How do you know you have a bad bearing? I'm asking for a reason. I sent my turbo back to Turbonetics because of something else. I'm running something else till my other turbo comes back.

And also I spent about $250 to 260 for gauges at summitracing .com you don't need anything fancy, you just need them to work. No problems with mine yet. All i have is boost, oil pressure, and EGT's. I also have oil temp, but don't really need it.

Wow that sucks .They'll take care of you . It's all under warranty as long as they didn't remove the filter on top of the turbo. What hinted you on about the turbo having a problem? Did it smoke?

Yup. There was smoke coming from the turbo and out of the exhaust.
