im located in the kansas city metro area. Do you know of any place to get the unichip tuned near me?

Im fairly positive that you can run the exhaust without the tune, of course you can squeeze a few more HP with a new one.

The Turbonetics tune was conservative enough on that application and on the Tc as well that you can bolt on a 3" exhaust and still be safe. I would always recommend tuning for max power gains but its still safe enough. And no the boost did not change..

I will have to agree with Mia and say that the tune is pretty universal for a lot of applications. We're doing a new tune for our kits as well to accomodate wider applications.

3" exhausts are great in some cases. We're curious to see what the results of a car going from a 2.5" to a 3" exhaust would be.

This was 3" to a 3" in and out resonator, to a 3" inlet on the muffler to twin 2" tips. Of course for the Tc the muffler would be a little different but at the minimum it will be 3" in and 3" out. The stock Tc piping I have not personally measured but it less then 2.25" I beleive. The Turbonetics downpipe is 2.5"

lil mini-update for now. The turbo has been treating me very well. Got all the kinks worked out. Finally got a full tank on the turbo, didnt boost most of the tank and got a whopping 374.9 to a full tank on 91 octane. Very impressed esp with the turbo now. I also installed the front lower grill back on, sleeperish. Dyno will be on friday so expect numbers this weekend. Full review by this weekend too.

75% highway, 25% city driving. When I was NA, i got pretty close to 400, it was about 395. Why would I make up my gas mileage man?

Have you considered getting it tuned at your locak Unichip certified tuner. I'm going to get it tuned soon and will post the dyno.

Look forward to time slipsaswell.

Its impossible for me to baby my car, so I get like 320 a tank..

I couldnt imagine with a turbo how my MPG would sink..
