I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but usually when I shift gears in my car I hear a slight whistling. It also comes on when I am lightly pushing the throttle. NO I am not a noob and no I didn't accidentally place a turbo without knowing unless I can install a turbo in my sleep or some evil turbo installer came and unsuspectingly hit my car yeah!! anyways some explanation guys???

 

your stock intake is designed to sound like an aftermarket intake, so it has a whislint sound, it is normal, they all do it, mine even more so with the cold air intake.

 

You might hear a slight little whistle sound but it is nothing close to a BOV.

 

after reading ur profile and seeing that u have the Injen CAI...the whistle is coming from that...it is perfectly normal. The BOV sound u hear is from shifting quickly at WOT (wide open throttle) and the gap of air that pretty much gets "gulped" in...all perfectly normal

It's the air rushing past the throttle plate when you're at partial throttle... Notice if you let off, or press the throttle harder the sound dissapears. It's right around 15-25% throttle.
