From what I understand all that was changed was the exhaust manifold so they shouldn't have any problems if the head is still the same.

Well the ECU is going to change so maybe a ZPI stage 0 would not work?? Also I am wondering how much ULEV-I is different from ULEV-II. It may be easier to data log A/F through OBD II. I know the RSX is ULEV-II and people are data logging A/F from the OBD II port. Anyways only time will tell until then it is all speculation.

Dang that sux for them. Not to get off topic but what's different with the 07 tC and the 06? My stepdad wants to trade the 06 for the 07. But he can't or else I won't have my xB. BTW what's MY07'?

My buddy just bought a new '06 a few weeks ago. He was chatting with the dealer guy and he said something about a redesigned super or turbo charger coming out from TRD. All my friend really heard was the words "new _____charger." He doesn't remember if he said super or turbo. The dealer dude said also said "250 to 270 HP."

Not exactly reliable information. Especially since it's he-said-she-said information. It's probably just the dealer talking out of his ___ trying to push a sale. I have my doubts. Don't hold your breath. Just sharing what I heard.

 

TRD isn't going to offer a turbo set up for the tC. The T'netics kit was going to be the turbo set up if they did offer one.

 

If this was true it would mean that none of the current headers or turbo manifold's would work either.

I'm pretty sure that would ____ off alot of aftermarket companies.

No that just means the S/C won't fit. The head has not changed. That means the headers and turbo manifolds will still fit on the head.

 

HA! imagin the price toyota would charge if they sold the turbonetics kit installed... i say 7k!
