The car is fine and is still in one piece

He will have to return another day for the big #'s.

I am sure he will be on here soon to give a play by play update.

Stay tuned

Regards-

scionlife curse.... possibly?
No curse........

When your one of the few to push the envelope there is always a learning curve involved. Some things came up, which we all will benefit from....so we owe Jeff and Tony a big thank you

possibly not too great #s this time?
The car made killer numbers, just not able to push it.....a few more items and he will be set

Ok, now you really peaked my interest on what's going on. At first I thought he was just chilling out driving in his car or something but now it's

Let me educate you a little on the mistery of the Scion Life Curse...

The rule of thumb has been, when someone makes a thread that says something to the effect of "Hey, I'm About to do this", or "We will be doing this on this date", the suspense builds up, and then the day comes and goes and no answers or updates, and something happens to prevent the event from happening. This is very common here, so the phrase came about. Jeff has fallen victim to it as well, as we still don't have an update the "day" of the event or shortly after. It's not a curse of something bad happening, just a curse that the suspense builds, and then a big Let Down.

Yeah, Todd, like I was posting up in other peole threads about my kit, and trying to avoid the curse by not posting my own thread. And then...well...you were here for our install! It was just minor issues that were resolved by the end of the week, but the day I was SUPPOSED to post up some great turbo info, I ended up posting that we had to cut some pipes and wait for new ones to come!

It happens ALOT!

Yeah, like the other curse that commonly applies to only the tC. Which is, I rarely see a BRAND NEW tC last longer than 3 weeks before it is involved in some form of a fender bender/accident.

Happened to us. Some of you may not know, but our FIRST tC was a BCP 5spd. My lady totalled it like I think 2 weeks or so after having it (idiot in a Jeep turned in front of her). Bought the BSP tC, and probably after 2 1/2 weeks of having it, riding with my woman, turned down a service road (crossing 3 lanes), didn't realize the 3rd (turning lane) and BAM! Truck smashes up the passenger headlight area.

A few of my crew after buying their tC's, have had front end collisions, hood smashes (by falling debri), and the most recent, a girl who was GOING to join our club so she bought a tC. We were having lunch the day after she bought it, and talking about her car and that's when I mentioned I've never seen a tC last 3 weeks before getting into an accident of some sort.

haha my mom t-boned mine... i was parked about 10-15 yards directly opposite my garage... one day she was leaving for work, put her car in reverse and just kept reversing into my drivers door and rear quarter panel. thats UNFORTUNATELY only 1 of 3 total crashes/fender benders.... all my friends with tc's are in the same boat... hit and runs, rolling the car, etc etc.

lol .... basically if you get a tc prepare yourself.

Alright I just got home, I went to the cowboys patriots game this weekend also!

The car wouldnt rev over 7k it was losing crank signal, the car has so much left in it after 7k too. It wasnt safe to leave the redline at 7 until we get this fixed. Tony has a solution so i'll be working with him to get it fixed. It's a problem with the AEM piggybacking off the stock ecu. We'll get it fixed in a couple of week's. But we did finish all the partial throttle tuning and everything so im driving the car. The car made 350whp on the wastegate spring and thats bout half way into the power band....the car has some power in it thats for sure....ill post pics of the fab work tony did in a little bit
