Sorry to hear it didn't go as well as you wanted on the "first" try. Sick that it pulls that hard only halfway through the power band. Crazy man.

So it's the AEM not the crank? I just want to get this right. Will anything change with your crank to fix it or just an adjustment with the AEM?

Not the crank its losing the signal, not enough voltage I believe.

To put it bluntly, there is a problem when piggybacking the signal, that we ran into on Jeff's app....As a result, Jeff is going to send back his EMS & harness for the 'fix' from us. It is VERY easy to fix and this solution worked for the 07 Road Race tC, which revs out to 7300 RPMS just fine.

Yep, its the AEM. As the crank rotates it creates a voltage in the crank sensor. The voltage level varies with the engine speed. At about 7,000rpm's they are reaching the point where the signal does not triggers the AEM correctly. If the AEM does not know the correct rpm's the engine is at: then it can not deliver the correct ignition and injector signals.

The solution is simple: they need to change a resistor inside the EMS. The problem is knowing which resistor value to put, but, apparently Paul already knows the value!

is this from the FIC AEM or the full AEM unit.. and is this an issue only revving past 7k?

i wish i lived on the west coat =(

Yes, and the AEM EMS on the 05-06 tCs revving past 7K.

if i lived on the west coast i probably would have made 200+ all motor already.. no real FL tc tuning FTL ... cant wait to see this done already..

Riiiight. Like their sick offense needs any spies, honestly. If I recall correctly, the "spygate" game was the one where Moss ran through 3 Jets players and caught the perfectly thrown ball from Brady about 50+ yards down the field. You're right, that had nothing to do with talent...it was all based on information the spy told them. :D

My state have that problem too. We dont a really good tuner in MA for a tC also.
