dude, if there is anyone who has posted numersoue threads about different parts of his setup, it Jeff. Just search the boards for threads he's posted.

Also, if you really want info, go to the builders and manufactures like turbo Toyotas and Dezod...their the ones you want to ask, not the end user.

But if you are reffereing to the problem with the AEM EMS, they sent that back to Dezod who knew the problem and fixed it, so you should ask are good buddy Paul about that.

standalone
return fuel system
big turbo
built motor

i mean sorry for the gross over-simplification fellas but jeez
all you need is air, fuel, and spark

and someone to hand the keys to that can tune the car

well i guess now i'll just post a ton of threads, because the search on this site is only so so.sorry i dont want to read though 120 pages to find out who makes cams/and the specs on them, what are the really fast cars using as far as trans mods go,and the other question was very simple, how much boost was he running on that 350hp dyno run, that would tell me alot about the turbo he's using.the conversation about cams is brought up weekly, and no ever seems to have good info about them,so if he's found something why not share?if he's using a stock trans with no aftermarket gears then sweet!but if not where can i get them and who do i call?why cluter up the board with all these questions(again)if someone can just give me a quick answer as to what they did.im not asking for a super detailed list of exactly what he has done.just a little info would be nice.

Mike, that answers your question of what the hold up is and why the new numbers aren't in. Plus it's got to get back to him and than he has to drive 4hrs to get to the tuner. So I'm sure it won't be a get back EMS and head right down there. type of thing

Mike, why don't you tell us all about your setup while we wait? You can be like his opening act.

HAHAHa LOL i'll put it this way it's and will be faster than yours LOL j/p when i finish my setup and i go to get tune then "yes" i will post on here and "yes" i will answer any questions that i CAN answer. I mean he had wireless internet on his Highway and for at least 24hours b4 he went to the dyno he was on here answering questions and keeping the thread going but like all projects a minor speed bump slowed the process. I mean i wasn't bashing him for having problems "i was speaking my mind like you are supposed to do on forums" but i was also trying to see what problems he was having. Plus i IMed him asking about the car and yep NO answer so if you don't wanna inform people of possible problems that will occur then FK it don't post. Really i may have went at it the wrong way but take the time and go on other forums like honda ones were its not all about one person or one company its about helping fellow car owners go fast safely. But what do i know? Hmm well i can tell everyone i have a ex-ZPI kit with a 3076r. Which i can say is i think i have the cheapest setup here if you have talked to me ever you would know i am a BUDGET guy. I wanna go as fast as possible buuuuuuuuttttt i don't and won't spend alot of money like everyone else and probley won't. Its kinda like food shopping i look for coupons LOL

Oh...NOW who's being all secretive? If your gonna wait to tell till your finished, how is that different then Jeff? He's not finished yet either!
And a good way to keep the boards from being cluttered wiht the same questions is to USE THE SEARCH BUTTON! Yeah, it takes some effort, but do you expect everything to just be handed to you.

Here's a better thought...how about asking some companies and not some customers? Have you tried calling Joe or Paul at Dezod, or Todd at Turbo Toyotas? They are allways willing to help if they can or point you to other companies if they have what you need. Hell, Jeff's is a Dezod/TurboToyotas/T1 and whoever else frankinstien beast!

But, hey, don't get me wrong...I'm not hateing on you...I'm just board cause I'm stuck at the airport and my flight doesn't leave for an hour! ...

Like paul said my EMS will be back tommorrow. Im going to dallas for Import Face Off saturday and sunday and i'll be dropping by T1 on monday to make sure all problem's are fixed and to get her ready for the tune. I'm not sure what we are gonna try to tune for on pump gas. We'll see....

As far as my setup goe's....I guess you guy's dont realize how many PM's and what not I get everyday asking about the setup. Yes I have cam's, a little head work but no port job, a intake manifold, T1 re did all my intercooler piping and its a larger size, a new fmic, a bigger turbo then my 3076r, rest is still the tt setup, larger injectors, ignition system, fuel rail, feed and return lines, a new boost controller

Standalones usually have a boost controlling feature in them. Brian (Jester) uses the Hydra, which has a boost control feature.

AEM EMS allows you to use an electronic solenoid of any brand or AEMs to control boost through the AEM unit.

Wait a second. The AEM EMS can be a boost controller too? Can you change it on the fly or is it programmed with the computer? I might be able to get the AEM EMS if I get rid of my current emanage and harness along with my boost controller and an extra $1K. I might be hitting you up for one by the end of the year.
