so Screw putting them back in.. Me and my friend threaded a bolt in about 6mm.. because the hole is crooked so the bolt wont go all the way in. Then I used some JB weld and let it sit for a few hours.
Came back and started it up after putting everything back together. Ran much smoother overall..
The idle came down a little bit and the vibrations came down at idle also.
Although my vacuum is still low which I cant pinpoint.. maybe the drop in compression?
Anyways after a few minutes I took it out for a drive and the vibrations decreased a lot.. but there are barely noticable vibrations in the upper RPM.. but I believe because I have no balance shafts lol
So from what I can tell my car is running very good.. Boost feels very good again.
As a side note pulling the balance shafts.. I did notice an increase in acceleration
And when I pulled the oil pickup/screen I found parts from my stock pistons
Great news there!
As for the idle and vacuum problem there can be so many reasons:::
1-The timing chain may also be out of timing by a tooth
2-Fresh piston rings have to break in before sealing their best
3-Vacuum leak
4-Very bad AFR at idle can lower vacuum
5-Difference in C/R?

I would check for vacuum leaks and then check the timing chain!
What kind of vibrations are you experiencing now?

the vibrations are noticable from 2600-2900RPM while not really on the throttle.. then there gone
I want to blame this on the absence of the balance shafts

My vacuum is only low when there isnt a load on the car.

340 miles and still going... Have done a few full throttle pulls and the car feels great

I need some 700cc injectors if anyone wants some 550cc injectors let me know

340 miles....I think you would need more than that for break in correct me if I'm wrong.

the rings just have to seal.. I dont really understand what else has to "break in"
I still am babying it though.

Hopefully trying to get tuned within like 2-3 weeks.. need some $
Plannin on 18-19PSI with methanol on a high boost setting.. Low at 12-13PSI

If anyone needs any stock motor parts let me know.. I have cams, manifolds, full head, turbo intake pipe, engine dampener

the only thing that needs to seat is the rings. You need to beat on that engine. I'm serious. you wanna form a tight seal. you only get one shot at this. I've built a ton of engines and I do this for a living. Also I hope your running the cheapest oil you can find for the breakin. You want a crappy oil that will grab all the particules and be able to seat the rings. it's much harder to seat the rings with synethic due to the excellent properties.

this is how I do it. 25miles on cheap oil, doing WOT runs and letting the engine brake by vacuum. then change oil, dump some valvaline in there and run that for 500 miles, drain then go to your oil of choice.
