dang man i hope you get it running. If you don't mind me asking where did you get your service manual at i cant find a hanes for our cars any where and the one at toyota was crazy exspensive

Check cam timing? fuel delivery? Not just pressure but if the injectors are opening.

i know it fired on one cylinder, i think my spark plugs are just covered in oil. im gonna try again tonight when i get home.

well i got it running finally, the other three spark plugs were covered in oil except the one spark plug that i checked for spark, go figure. Revs like a beast!

Lol, its always the little things. Any other tips for us guys still in the build process? I'm using almost identical parts as you did.

I drove it out of the driveway today, heard grinding.... i forgot to reposition my rotor dust guards. DOH!!

i gotta retune it and fix my check engine light before i can get turbo back on, still got a ways to go.

well it idled really bad this morning then cut off twice. then it idled fine. then i dorve it and the rotor was grinding. So tonight, i swapped batteries (my original battery actually lasted five years) and cranked it, idled fine and no check engine light. I'm assuming that the ecu is having problems with the lower compression and being that it was originally tuned to use less fuel because of the compression (someone correct me if im wrong but thats the logic i have developed at the moment). I have yet to calibrate the SAFC for the new corrections and plan to this tomorrow while breaking it in on the dyno. Always good to have a tuner shop close by

Yay for a billion check engine codes!! lol I had 9 codes today, then i ended up with only one. I'd guess most are due to running lean, soon to be fixed though.
