Default Cam Position Sensor

Ok so I got the car up and running after putting a ____ty ebay turbo on it. Blew one of the turbos and replaced it with a new. Now it is showing a cel for the cam position sensor bank 1. I don't remember what else the scanner said. Has anyone else had this issue. Is it a simple replace? I did a search on here and there was one that was saying sometimes its the actuator for the vvti. Also is the sensor under the timing cover or on the other side of the head. Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been touched on before.

so far I've spent 75$ on two of them. One was used that made it a few months and this one is new. It didn't even fail because of it. I installed it wrong with too small of a drain line. why?????

are you still na and not replying to the actual purpose of this post. But I do see that you have stock seats and fog lights.. bad ___ dude, keep up the good work. My turbo is the only cheap part. All my gauges are AEM, as is my water meth and fic. Sorry I didn't list my screen as an upgrade. I thought everyone had one of those. Get a life, I solved my issues without the help of this forum and will continue to do so as 90% of the people on here are kids and pay to have all their work done.

Maybe you'll get more out of your car if you don't mention you are a douche bag

could either be in the fic harness, or the cam sensor may be unplugged its on the right rear of the head!

harness is an AEM pnp harness. I found the sensor, it had just been raining for days it felt like and wanted to know what I needed to be prepared for. I ordered a replacement and just waiting for it to come in. I checked the connection as I'd been digging around it before and it seems like a good connection.

Here's the symptoms: Car starts and idles fine, after it is warm (after running perfect 14.5-15 afr at idle) it will start to dump fuel and flood the motor. The fic is showing wacky psi s on the laptop. It's thinking it getting boost at idle or not even with the car off.

My plan: Reroute the vaccuum lines for water meth, boost gauge, and fic to the brake booster line and leave wastegate and bov on the throttle body. Replace cam position sensor as it's throwing the cel and fairly cheap. Eventually get new wastegate. A friend on here mentioned I may be getting moisture from the waste gate to the fic via mutual vacuum line (why I should have never wasted my time on the ebay wastegate). Like I said it's been raining like crazy here and what feels like 100% humidity.
