Problem solved. No clue what it was though. We took apart the shock assy, and nothing looked out of order. I added a small o-ring to the shock, for the bump stop to sit on. We put it all back together, test drove the car, and no more snap/knock/whatever.

Which only means one thing.

Turbo install this Friday/Sat/Sun.

Now I'm off to play Guitar Hero.

I think you missed the one word that will stop me from installing...Rain .

I'm taking a half day Friday, to get some of the small crap finished. Gonna pull the bumper, exhaust manifold, install s-pipe, maybe put the turbo manifold on. Then Saturday if it doesn't rain, I'll do all the charge piping, route hoses, finish my gauges, etc. My injectors come in tomorrow, so that'll finish everything for parts. Still need another T fitting for my oil sensor, some hose, and another input for the Vac Block.

With my luck, it will rain all weekend, then snow next weekend.

Now that I think about it...I'd do a snow day install. As long it's not slushy, wet snow. That would be a disaster.

Well, I ditched work early last friday because of my suspension making noise. The road I drive on for my work is a cracked up concrete road...and it was completely torn up for two new sewer pipes. So the suspension noise (had no idea what it was at the time) plus a raped road = rattle and clunking galore. So it was time for lunch, and I didn't want to drive on the road more than I had to, so I just left and went home.

Has anyone put sound deadening just in the hatch area? My hatch is gutted right now (didn't put the crap back in it after I reinstalled my shocks), and it's noticeably louder. The drone of my exhaust is louder, wind noise, etc. I was thinking of deadening the hatch, just to kill the drone a little more, even though the turbo quiet the exhaust down some. Just wanted to see if it's worth it or not..

I'll check to see if I bookmarked one, among my pages and pages and pages of threads, lol.

i deadened my hatch area, 2-3 layers of rammat and huge difference.. if you tap on the metal where the spare tire is at, its so thin and can cause a lot of noise in the cabin

Yeah, what's up with this state doing that? My town's roads are all ripped up and repaved for that crap. And this is usually AFTER they repave the entire road and do such a sh!tty job patching it back up. It gets really irritating at times when I have to slow down to 20-25 b/c of how bad the roads are in spots.

Holy crap, the roads by my house are being destroyed right now lol. And NJ is slow as hell when it comes to this crap, because union workers are all scum bags. This MAIN road has been destroyed for over a month, with 0 signs of them finishing it.

I'm taking off work Friday and doing my install during the day. I'm sure I'll ____ off a few people who are taking their kids out for Halloween with my obscure swearing and frantic fits of rage.

My injectors are inside my house.

Only thing I need to do, is figure out what I'm going to do about my oil pan. The fitting for my pan is smaller than the line/fitting I got from Dezod. Gotta figure something out for that...
