Default Cars shutting off..

OK well heres the story..

Before i was turbo my car would once in a blue moon just shut off, then put the turbo kit on an tuned it on emanage blue,an bam everonce in a while the car would shout off but only in boost! it also had a idling prblem but other than that the car ran good.. now that im using the fic the car idles an drives great excet some times only in boost the car will just shut off. i have gone days just not even in bost an the car will drive fine but once it get wot it will shut off.

wat do u think the problem is? my stock ecu..?
my tuner says its cause my 02 sensor was welded into my downpipe
so idk

this problem happened about a year ago when i ran into a puddle but i only had a short ram lil intake on so i doubt it got water into it. idk my question is why only in boost?

I know it's a complete rarity that this happens, but maybe your ecu lost the tune. My tC was doing the same thing & I took it back to the tuners and it hasn't happened since.

Nope, it didn't run any differently when it started happening. It's just that everytime I was under 800rpm, it would just shut off. It completely sucked cuz it kept happening on the highway. So, when I went to the tuners he said it was cuz of the the AFR.

you o2 sensor is perfect on the downpipe lol... sounds to me like a tuning issue.. if you see a lean afr on idle then that causes stalling, add some fuel there.. If it shuts off after coming off boost that maybe due to your bov being vented to atmosphere, recirc usually help or blow thru maf setup.. if you have good tuner then they can tune your map to compensate overly rich mixture after letting off boost that causes stalling

during idle it does not shut off it idles great, only at boost it will shut off an only once in a while, so thats caused by running rich? also i get backfire when slowing down or downshifting what causes that?

What bov do you have!? Maybe it's not closing completely? It's your tune if it's not the bov!! My car used to shut off when the idle drops after got it tuned now problems!!!

a lil rich yeah its safe.. too rich will do damage to your motor too. if you stall because its too rich then ridiculously rich.. you should get a wideband already, its almost impossible to diagnose these kind of problems without a wideband... all we can do is speculate here which is hit or miss. what cels are you throwing?

*doesnt blow as fast* this cracks me up, like your tuner knows its gonna blow soon but not as fast lol

is it your primary o2 that was welded?? If it was, then yes that much heat can damage it. Stuck rich means it isn't cycling. Sounds like your ecu is compensating for it and when you go into open loop aka boost, your tune is messed up somewhere and causing it to die. I would definitely look into getting a new o2, reset your ecu (take positive and neg. battery terminals off and touch them together), and retune.

i would start at the root of the problem.
you said that it happened BEFORE the car was boosted, so i would start from there then move on.
did you check all the fuses and relays?
