hmm.. anti fouler lol...
I do also dont think cleaning the converter will solve n e thing at all. 02 need to sense the heat or the air flowing out remember not how dirty it is ...
ionno im sorry i cant buy the fact they cleaned the converter and the CEL is gone... -.- usually the CEL will come on in about 60miles or so after u install the header. Just like mines...
true, the antifouler is very cheap to do. But moving the sensor back behind the second cat (if you have one) should solve this issue without actually having to trick anything. If you dont have any cats, then antifouler of some type is the only option.

But, I agree that cleaning the second cat had no effect. There needs to be a difference in the readings within a set range in order for the ECU to determine that the first cat is working. When you remove it, the two sensors readings are not in this range meaning either the sensor or the cat is faulty (or gone in this case). Adding the antifouler serves the purpose of pulling the second one out of the flow to create this difference (although the difference may not be within the range the ECU is looking for which is why some have little luck with this and some have great luck) so the ECU sees what it should. As someone mentioned, moving the second 02 behind the second cat may be a good solution for this.
yea moving it back.. but then again i guess if you get a full catback with some spipe, wouldnt you be screwed *cough*likeme*cough* n e wayz good to have the anti fouler.
IF IF IFFFF you CAN clean that thing, i would rather choose the anti fouler trick... or that just stick with stock hehe, if you dont want any problems...
Btw im not saying your BSing us that they cleaned it... ionno if they did thats awesome... as long your CEL is gone.. thats KOOL! ^_^;
