Ok so, ive had my dd MT tc for 4 years now and its been boosted for 3.5 years. Just hit 90k miles and decided to do a compression test. Ive had numerous kits on the car, but RARELY ever went without boost. All the kits were FIC tuned anywhere from 240hp-300hp. All on 93.

CYL 1: 193
CYL 2: 193
CYL 3: 193
CYL 4: 193

I still cant believe this. And i did the test twice......

I can only hope my N/a motor could produce such awesome results....I even have a comp tester...I just haven't been to my brothers house (where I store my tools...and he loses them ) lately to do it.

 

Any work done to the block/heads.

good tune on that hp will get you a long way.. good numbers! now check back in at 100K with compressions!

Awesome tune and the reliabilty of the 2aZ. Only if they had better designed rods from factory this car would be a great.

 

yea, i barely went without a tune on this Tc, and its yielded amazing results. Just have to maintain on a regular basis, and dont push it to its limits unless you have the money to back it up. but my auto is a whoooooole nother story lmao

 

Just hit 96k miles and did another test. Kind odd but I got:
Cyl 1: 191
Cyl 2: 191
Cyl 3: 188
Cyl 4: 195

I'm guessing that such a small difference in numbers since the last test probably just has to do with how many times I cranked it, and air temp/humidity.

 

maybee you cranked it over too many times last time, but good results regardless. dude your MIA ive been trying to hit you up where u been? gimme a call
