Default Coolant Line Delete/Block Off Plate????

So I have removed all of my heat/AC components and coolant lines that ran into the car. I also have a throttle body coolant bypass. Is it possible to place a block off plate where I have circled in RED and plug the holes on the cylinder head where I have circled in GREEN? Eliminating all the extra hoses and that metal coolant line? I would do this purely for cosmetic reasons not for perfromance.

Why did you block off the coolant lines to the throttle body.

Throttle body coolant bypass....unnecessary when driving in the summer. And I would rig up a new bolt for the dip stick on the block off plate. Would it work though?

It's unnecessary but why do it if you won't be getting any benefit either way. Just more work for nothing. But. It's cool

Alot of things are unnecessary.....Wire tuck, ABS relocate, etc.....but Im still doing it. I just want to know if it would work. I dont see a reason why it wouldnt. Unless some one could explain why it wouldnt work.???? The ONLY benefit would be cosmetic which is the ONLY reason why I would do it.

Just OEM no specific reason I was gonna plan on building a beast 500+ but I dont really need that right now so OEM should be fine for now....POSSIBLY built head, ultimate, raise redline and more boost if I rebuild it next year again lol....But what you think about my idea here Elevation? Think is will work?

What you have circled looks to be the coolant bypass lines. I would not recommend removing that, as it may cause hot spots in the engine while it is warming up, before the thermostat opens.

agreed ^ that bypass lets the coolant circulate through the head and block sligthly whil the thermostat is closed you would effectively make the engine run hotter in random spots which is not a good thing but it would look clean though have to agree with u on that

i actually tried this same type of delete on a ford 5.4 i put in a 65 fairlane for a customer at the shop and i noticed a 18 to 20 degree increase at idle once u got some rpms it flowed enough to get the temp down but i decided seems how this was gonna be a daily driver i had to put it back on the temp sensor was ran on the head in the back so i kinda got lucky i happened to route the sensor in a hot spot

Hey thanks for the input man - I wish I could delete this but I guess not worth the risk.
