ya i always thot about that.
half of the kit is just the manifold and the DP. the other half of the cost is everything else!
i guess if you get the whole kit its a great deal ya?

how much for the atp stuff?

ya im not sure if i can sell my downpipe now. treadstone thinks it might work even with the larger turbo im getting. the atp stuff is a little different. also with the treadstone kit (manifold) there's going to be rubbing of the turbo on the radiator shroud. so u might have to be careful with the larger turbo. ive also seen megan made an equal length manifold and downpipe.

yea, treadstone is bothering me. i have to get new fans and whatnot. if you could sell it to me then ill wait otherwise im gonna sell it...no use in keeping it.

with the treadstone manifold, the only thing thats actually going to be rubbing is the wastegate though.

the megan manifold is prety suck, but im wary of their products.

btw, i'm making a guide for the custom turbo people. so if anybody could list whatever parts they think are full of sickness then ill include it in the guide

as in......LIST THEM MANIFOLDS =)

plus. i need a new one hahaha

FYI, my turbo did not hit the fans at all. I actually have a descent amount of space between the turbo and fans. It appears its on a case by case basis.

Suggesting great quality control I see.... Great. I hope my manifold is more like yours since I'm getting the larger turbo. Do you have a picture of yours?

Now since your running a larger turbo, you might have clearance issues. I'm using the garret turbo that comes with the kit. I did not upgrade. So you might have issues there. They say slim line fans take care of this.

yea, i think it's a case by case. because when i measured everyhting my turbo wasn't hitting either but the wastegate was.

i have a 60-1 turbo and that places the measurement from one side of the turbine to the other at 5.75 inches =)

case by case i guess.

hows about that downpipe? =P

could be an install issue, not clocking the turbo enough.
But i beleive he ordered slim fans already, after seeing them on my TT kit. Hell, even the two ZPI 0 guys here thought about moving the fans after seeing how much room I have in my kit after moveing the fans!

alright/ i'm almost 99.9% sure that i won't be able to sell the manifold.

should i go custom downpipe?

i have no idea how much it is going to run...and i have to get the car towed to a shop when i put all the parts on so this is going to have to wait until after school ends so i don't NEED my car

Did you put it on ebay? It's selling for $230-$330 there.
and I'm not sure about the custom downpipe, but I think your right. They would at least have to mound the manifold first to lign everything up.

yea, also i'm having trouble finding the rght size of bolts for the turbo>>manifold>>wastegate setup

i bought 8m x 1.25 bolts.

i feel like i'll lose alot of money selling it. whereas the ATp turbo manifold is 350+downpipe+300 = 650

and my treadstone manifold is 330+250~ 580

..........i never looked at it like that lol.

guess i'm keeping the treadstone for sure haha
