Custom Turbo Kit: Doggy Style! Round 2!!!! Pics and Dyno
I missed the boost, so I made another kit
Here is my mod list
Turbo Toyotas Twin Scroll Manifold
Divided .78 A/R V Band Housing
Gt3076R Turbo
Dual Tial Wastegates
Custom Intercooler kit - Powder Coated By Me
3 Inch Turbo back Exhaust, V-Band Flanges
TurboSmart MegaSonic BOV
Ptuning Vacuum Block
Aem Fic W/ PnP harness
720 PnP Injectors
Exedy Twin Disk Clutch
I am running 11.6 psi and made 310 WHP, my tuner said I need to make an intake for the turbo, because its sucking in nothing but hot air. He put a fan on the filter and did a pass and made 26 hp on the run. Ill post new numbers when I make the intake and get a retune.
The baseline Dyno was cut short because the tuner thought it was over boosting, he didnt know i was doing 11+ psi
Exhuast

God damn is that a bov or a train horn. It's big as hell! Wither way setup look real clean. You should weld those 2 pipes together so you won't have that coupler an 3 clamps. Other then that congrats on setup and dyno.

Not really a problem, you can see my filter is connected directly to my turbo, thus sucking in hot air

try to check you intake temperature with an obd reader, i did a before an after test with an intake pipe, with a cold air intake pipe extension and with just a filter on the turbo like yours.. my intake temps really didnt have a significant difference especially when the car is on operating temps everything on the engine bay pretty much heats up. decent numbers btw

WIth no intake my cruising temp was 103-105* now its at 96-98, this is during the middle of the day
I got retuned and made 326 HP and 321 TQ at the same psi. I didnt ask my tuner for a printout but thats what I made.
