Hey everyone, I registered here to help out a friend. He has a white 2007 tC, clean as hell, and he has it turbo'd (Garrett 57 trim) with 550cc injectors, intercooled, Greddy RS BOV, Tial 38mm wastegate, and running about 8psi. His engine management is an AEM FIC.

I was reading up about how to tune for it as I am slightly familiar with tuning for other platforms, but I wanted to post here to ask some help from you experts When he boosts under 3k, it shutters and most times under WOT above 3k, it does the same thing. It seems to be running really rich, about 10 AFR under boost. The car idles fine, but it's not as fun as it should be do drive. He does have intentions to get it tuned soon, but he would just like to get it running solidly before he goes and gets it tuned.

I have the map he is using, and from reading up on the forums a little, I think his MAF voltage should be clamped lowerer (set to 4.5 now - 2.8 to 3.2 is what seems to be best) and injector response is 486us (I think it should be around 800us or so for the 550cc injectors). He of course has a wideband, so AFR monitoring isn't a problem.

Is there anyone willing to help out and take a look at this MAP and see if they can make some improvements we can test to make it run better? I think the o2 tables need to be adjusted a little as well, but I am unsure what would need to be done. I am still reading and learning, I was just hoping someone could help me out. Gimme your email and I will send you the tune.

its not the worst iv ever seen...a bit rough but not the worst.

 

Not a clue to be honest. I believe he used a tune that someone else had because he had the same mods.

Did you modify the tune I sent you or did you send me a completely different tune?

 

diff tune...too much time to go through it all and smooth it out.

 

And this tune will work with the mods I posted above?

Also, does he have to have the latest SW on his FIC or will it accept this tune if it's not up to date?

 

it seems like the same sw im using so should be good as far as that goes. this is just a base map and should get him a little closer. Its better than paying for it...lol
