Default Dezod EMS - Updated 12/16 - ALL HAVE BEEN SHIPPED

update for 12/16/06

ALL EMS's have been shipped as of yesterday. Expect to have a tC specific wiring diagram, a pinout guide, and a tested unit coming in the mail. Thank you for everyone's business, and be sure to write your own review of our product for the members here, and for us to better serve you in the future. Thanks guys!

UPDATE for December 8th

EMS are in their first stage of ship status. Non-programmed EMS's are shipping directly to the purchaser. The pre-tuned EMS are on their way to my place where I'll be tuning all of them to the same specs my car has been successfully running for over a month now with out the tune changing. From there, it gets shipped directly to you.

Thanks to all for their business. We look forward to helping you in the future!

As the title says. We have what we need for all of our partial throttle tuning. I'll be out for the next few hours testing the system and logging the results. In the end, possibly by the end of the week, I'll have an available basemap for everyone that buys the ADD-ON EMS from us, so you have partial throttle correction to work in junction with any piggy-back EMS you're currently running with.

Updates soon guys. Subscribe to this bad boy!

**UPDATE**
Ok guys, the EMS is a done deal. We're happy with the results and it will be ready to ship as early as next week. We're making a GB in a different though for purchase information, but I'd like to keep this thread here for techincal information and support.

Here's a rundown...

The EMS is a serial bus interface. You will need a compliant adapter, and a computer in order to program your own settings into this unit. Software will be included in the price. This unit will take some time to figure out on your own, but it is doable. I of course will recommend a basemap which is good on ANY FI setup. What's nice is that this is a smart ECU. The value we put on simply modifies the stock o2 sensor input. It will allow you to always run your desired AFR, and by boost pressure, not just RPM. So from vac to about 2psi, there won't be a single change in the tune. From 2psi up, and as the revs increase, we will have it tuned to steadily enrichen your air fuel ratio so you make a smooth transition into boost. This unit will work with GReddy Emanage Blue and Ultimate, Unichip, SAFC, and any other MAF based tuning device. It works IN JUNCTION with a piggy back unit. This unit is not a closed loop tuning device, and will not adjust ignition timing. It will leave your WOT alone, but will offer MUCH safer AFRs for partial throttle. Benefits will be smoother power, more power, more reliable power, and better throttle control which is key for any road racer or auto-x driver. The hook up is simple and will tie into any OEM ECU harness, or our Dezod PnP harness options. It uses four wires, and a vacuum source. 1 wire for power, 1 for GND, 1 for tach, 1 for AFR1. This unit is covered in ABS plastic and will fit inside your glove box, or inside the center armrest.

If you have any questions let me know!

It will be listed on the site for $249.99 shipped.

10 People: $225 shipped.
20+ People: $205 shipped.

Add our pre-tune option for

Add $35 if a pre-tune is requested This allows you to simply connect the 4 wires and vacuum source, and drive away!

Any other questions guys let me know![/b]

Do you need to have a emanage already for this? If I don't have an emanage will it take it's place?

the way it was described by Joe_Dezod, i'm assuming u need a separate piggyback.

Joe, any chance of a full Dezod piggyback rather than an add-on?

About the full piggy back replacement... We're working with 2 different companies right now on something that does it all. It will be a much more expensive setup as a result however.

For now, this is a great option because there's a LOT of people on this forum that already have boost and an EMS. This will be the least expensive way to keep what you have, and still attain the safest possible setup.

As for price, as long as the unit performs to our expectations today, we will be retailing it on our site for only $249.99!!! Expect a group buy available the same day as our official release, and for an extra fee, we'll pre-tune the system for you!
