On a quick side note to further hit home some points, we have decided to merely release a turbo manifold, turbo, downpipe, s-pipe, dump tube, oil feed & drain line kit to allow for further customization to the end customer. People always wanted something different than the off the shelf kit. It could have been a different BOV, different color pipes, different design of the IC pipes, different intercooler size, water/air intercooler etc. I have heard them all! So now, why not give the customers that option with the tuner series turbo assembly? The funny thing is that, for being customer responsive, we get to be the pun of jokes. Kids these days....

Just food for thought, this was the first Alpha Series turbo manifold back in Late 2008 when we first started this deal. The cost was too much to produce for this market. This manifold would have sold for around $1500, which is why we went through about 2-3 more design improvements until the current one that was just released.

Well we think so as well considering people with kits from almost EVERY manufacturer want or wanted something different as I stated previously. How many people have "custom kit" written in their sig? Or custom TT kit? Or custom EBAY kit? Custom Dezod kit? Custom *** kit.....

Could we build pipes and an IC for it? Sure! 1 week or less. No problem, but why if someone is going to want to switch it up in some way shape or form anyway...

I did not in any way, shape or form attempt to steer the customer away from your kit purchase. In fact, I had congratulated him on the FI world and said we would have LIKED his business, but anyway, we are here to help.

Your customer then asked me about OUR kit, which I answered and that was it. I did nothing more than answer his questions. So please, get over yourself and call it a day. Here is the exact thread for those inquiring.

so i received my income tax and decided to buy a turbo kit after spending almost four hours readiing about ptuning and dezod i decided to buy the ptuning kit......now i need to know how much an installation will be and how much for a tune....

Welcome to the FI world. Of course we are disappointed not to have you business, but we are still here for your help and success with your turbocharged venture. Good luck and let us know if there is anything you need.
Immediate post after this was

of course im going to ask steve to install it as soon as i get.....i spent almost 5 hrs reading about this two kits and decided to go with ptuning
yeah! but why did you chose ptuning vs dezod?
The OP then questioned his decision and asked me about our kit
tell me the difference i can still cancel my order...... do i have to buy anything else for the dezod s1 kit
Am I to ignore his questions? No. Just as if you would not ignore someone asking about yours.

My response

Our kit comes complete with fuel and engine management. It comes with a comprehensive base calibration for the FIC, larger fuel injectors and a genuine Garrett turbocharger. Nothing else is needed with our kit. It even comes equipped with a full wiring harness for the FIC to make life SUPER easy.
I did in no way, shape or form say "cancel your order..." or frig them. I merely answered his questions about our kit. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have always congratulated both companies on their accomplishments and have been like a kid in a candy store every time a company has come out with something new...now i don't quit get that feeling anymore with this whole newbie who's kit is better and this he said she said bull crap.

I supported TT for a long time and found out just what can happen when you stick very strongly to one company...in the end you fail, and fail hard. I have guys i tune i send to p-tuning as well as dezod, crap the past month iv sent at least a grand of biz between the two. Allot of that is a crap load of odds and ends iv suggested to them to make life easier for them, and i didn't send them to those companies just because their name is P-Tuning or Dezod. I do it cause my customers needed something, the company had it, they had a reasonable price and could get it to me within a fair amount of time. Now i feel like crap for sending my customers into the fire of a fan-boy war. This crap needs to come to a stop or i will not order anymore from either one and make sure my customers don't touch either one to save them from this bs.

If you ever want to see exactly what you guys sound like please take a look through the old threads of zpi, turbotoyotas, etc. regardless of what these companies have done just look how all those peeps sound, retarded. I my self have looked at em again and i shake my head. The naiveties of it all, even my own posts, astound me! Hell i still apologize to peeps on how i acted.

No matter what "side" you choose your all gonna look like an idiot when you look back. Trust me i know...lol

Hey keep your fricken P-tuning crap comments outta this thread. This is your last warning. I respect both companies but this is about Dezods release of some much anticipated products and you people need to stop making this a vs thread. I am not afraid to warn or ban if this crap continues in here. I could care less what you think too. This is disrespectful and you wouldnt want someone starting this crap in your thread. So cut it out or be ready for your self warranted punishment.

I see Brock is in here too... but I want to make ONE thing perfectly clear...

This is NOT a Dezod vs PTuning thread. This is not to trash one side or the other. This thread is to discuss Dezod's Alpha Series V-Band Manifold & Parts. Nothing more. If you can't stay on topic with that, you will get a warning. And probably be banned for a bit.

Clear enough?

Weapon status "RED"

P.S. while i was on 3 day mission i guess i missed all the action here.
Its just funny how people get mad or upset over little things. I think everyone needs to get deployed to a war zone to understand THERE ARE MUCH MUCH bigger things to get upset about then this kind of topics...

my .02 and i apologise if i'm not on topic or don't make sence for some.

P.S.S. Paul since i purchased my turbocharger from you guys, maybe you have the reciept with exact model of it right ?
If yes can you check for me if its possible to change the housing to be a V-band on my turbocharger ?
thanks.
