That manifold is being dyno'd possibly today, but the gentleman may have to wait until later this week if not.

Sorry, I did not even see this post.

is it possible to make a PnP for the STi? What if we went stand alone? So I could be like Paul Walker and have a laptop in the passenger seat? HAHA

Relay the message Paul.... I want Joe (not that kind of way )

We can get you into a standalone or a PnP with a piggy back. Either way.

Cool. BTW, your kit is done and so are the other back orders (except the downpipes).

Well, Joe's tC should be doing around 300 bhp if not more. Surely, BlkSandPrlTurbotC will have the launch (AWD vs the tC's FWD spin-happy engine) but after that, the tC's shorter gearing (by "after that" I mean after the tC grabs traction) and reduced drive train loss will allow the tC to close some distance.

It should be a good race.

Anyways, Paul, I don't mind waiting the extra week if the dyno gets pushed back. Just please do post it when you get it, I'm very curious about it!

Well, can you answer this? What makes your design superior to the butterfly design? AC retention is more than a good enough reason for me to go with this design but power wise, is your design better than the more common designs?

This has nothing to do with power, but is there a reason why you're going with a cut and weld manifold? Is it impossible to do a mandrel bent tubular manifold?

Please forgive my constant questions, but are you guys already designing the tC's manifold?

No not yet.

With respec to our EL for the D17, no one offers a manifold at all for it. With respect to the design of it, ours was deisgned for higher boost apps on the D17. It is premised off of an EVO8 manifold design but taper and catered to the D17. We attempted first off with a butterfly design, but space restrictions and such made it difficult. This design was far easier to tuck the runners in an equal length fashion into our manifold. We decided to defy the norm and see what our design can do.

This manifold for the D17 is the motivation for my buddy to finish his 2002 EX.

We've installed a T3/T04B 60 trim, big intercooler, Vortec intake manifold, Acura injectors (for new) new clutch, fully built motor now done, the AEM stand-alone (soon to be bought from us for him), and a full crower top-end. I guess it's a good way to see if the manifold holds up. We plan on putting the tC against a fully built honda SOHC this spring and seeing what happens. Should be some fun.

Back off to the garage for more tweaking and logging. Back tonight.
