Did TRD underrate its supercharger?
My friend and I just dyno'ed his supercharged 09 tc....he has trd axleback, and intake. Since the exhaust and intake at BEST give u 5 hp how come the car just touched 235 hp

Yea i dunno about 235 on just s/c lol - we dyno tuned a s/c tc here (a friends that is now turbo) and it made 208whp on the s/c with mmw header, and full catback exhaust along with a modded cai. With a 50 shot on top he made 252 whp. This was all being tuned with the fic.
Dyno is off.
And for the 05-06 S/C'er only setup, people get on average 180-195. With the 07-09 models it's more like 200whp even.
My boy has a 2006 with I/H/E + 9 lb pulley on his S/Cer. He dynoed 238whp.
So, doubt your friends S/C'er is pushing a true 235whp.

Ive seen a Supercharged tC do some pulls on our mustang dyno with a 9.5lb pulley, intake, and axle back exhaust. The final numbers I saw was about 170 horsepower. 235 seems to be a little extreme.
the wife's 05 sc w/ axleback, 110, and some old plugs was in mid 190's. Maybe we'd get a couple more after running with new plugs ( meaning getting it running at top efficiency, not adding hp per say ). 200 tops w/out full exhaust and smaller pulley seems to be the average. So something can't be right on the machine used.
