Would it be ok to put one washer with the 7lb pulley, to keep the car from stalling?

 

i dont think u need a washer. if ur at 7 lbs then u should be ok cuz when i first installed it i didnt put any washers in and it would only hold up to about 7.5 to 8 lbs and so i had to put another washer in to hold my 9.5 lbs.

 

ok, Im more concerned with stalling, cuz it is a big PITA

thanks its suppose to be one of the loudest bov they make and thats y i got it. i love it and me, im a attention ***** and when this thing goes off and everybody turns it leaves me with a huge smile.

 

Anyone have this setup done with a Greddy Type-RS? Curious to hear what that sounds like, interested in that haha.

 

This will not work with the stock bpv right?

does it recirculate? like does the vac line where its t'd off connect to the top or what?

like teh stock bpv is...

 

the little vac line goes on top of the bov just like the bpv, it does not recirculate, that is where the big psshh comes in.

 

My hks bov is on the way! Anyone else have a hks on their supercharger?

 

^ I did when I had it. Sounds awesome, people would never guess you're supercharged. wonderful feeling haha.

 

Just installed my hks bov and it sounds awesome. Instead of plugging up the bypass hose I just removed it and plugged the supercharger port. Works great and no stalling!

 

i like my bov too except i have an auto so it doesnt sound too often

what did you use to plug the s/c port?

 

Still working great! Seems that it runs slightly rich when it goes off but that is okay.

 

I used the same kind of plug that goodguy used but just a little smaller to fit inside the s/c port. I installed the rubber vsv mount around the brake reservoir. By the wayTHANKS GOODGUY for the info!
