So I have been asked to make a DIY on how to install a BOV into the stock intake so you can get the hiss hiss noise with out actually having a turbo.

Materials Required:
X-Acto Knife
BOV
RTV Sealant
Vac Line
Vacuum line T-Fitting

So what your going to do is cut your vac line in half and put the t-fitting in it. Then attach your vac line to in. You can put that down for this next step. Now your going to get your x-acto knife out and cut a hole the size of your BOV's flange in the stock intake pipe, by the throttle body. Your going to then insert your BOV in the hole and connect your vac line to that. Now your going to use your RTV and run a nice bead around the bottom of it where it enters the intake pipe. Make sure its air tight or its not going to work properly. If its sealed up correctly it should blow off at you when you rev it up really hard. Sounds just like a turbo but doesnt cost a fortune and keeps your warranty. Make sure the BOV is loosened almost all the way so hardly any pressure is required to open it.
