i'd love to use dynolicious, but i cant get past the calibration screen asking for me to place the iPod screen down.

1st gen iPod, 2.2 firmware

their support has been less-than-stellar as well... i am still waiting on a response

What do you mean you can't get past that screen? You don't know what to do? Or when you do it, it freeze...what?

it doesnt freeze because i can still exit the calibration.

i follow its instructions to place the iPod screen down on a flat, level surface, but no chime from the program (i let it sit like that for about 30 minutes with no results)

So, when you pick it up, is it still asking for you to place the screen face down, or did it move onto the next calibration task?

That's rather an obvious answer to that question, seeing as how you can only download it on an Ipod Touch, or Iphone. So, don't see how he would have it on a regular Ipod.

If I want my horsepower numbers, I just make a third gear pull while logging on my F/IC and run the DynoMaths library and I get my horsepower and torque numbers on my laptop. It is very accurate.

Yeah, but this is just a cool little app for less than $15 bucks.... Of course it's not engine management...hehee.

Does the DynoMaths tool come with the F/IC? Never heard of it, would like to know more.

DynoMaths is a math library that you import into the AEMLog program. AEMLog is an awesome tool that imports your datalogs and shows them graphically with sevaral parameters and allows you to compare pretty much everything that is logged by the unit.

DynoMaths is just a bunch of equations that you configure with your car's information. Everything from weight and gear ratios to drag coefficients and frontal area. It generates your real world wheel horsepower including modifiers for aerodynamic drag and rolling resistance. It is really slick and gives you some nice graphs of your horsepower and torque.

You can download AEMLog and DynoMaths from the AEMPower.com forums.

Im not a fan of the F/IC for a tC, so was just wondering if it was an independent software app.
