That twin-scroll setup is NICE!!!! Nothing like a fresh turbo setup to put a smile on your face. A pressure-wash will take care of all that dirt,bugs,and grime no sweat. I miss my car oh well getting a built bottom end FTW! Also the hood and CF fenders need a refresh to add to your new setup, Smoke.

 

True that. This phase has been all about getting back to boost. The next phase will address safety and exterior refresh. Looking to run 285 wide if that gives an idea on what will happen to the outside.

Brett my mistake on the setup the dual wastegates had me confused.

Rsmoke 285 (in the words of the guy from the fun spot commercials IT'S HUGE) it's a florida thing LOL.

 

Be VERY careful if you decide to have a dumptube made. We spent a lot of time positioning the wastegate for optimal efficiency. The exit ends on lower block, which is just fine. A dumptube will have to be squished to have any direct shot to the ground , or have a crazy bend. You may encounter boost creep, beware... motor may go boom first time you floor it. Also if the tube touches the block, false knock can occur from resonance of tube .

The rs kit which travis has, is a different story.

TL;DR aj got screwed over by kenny at zpi (i know, big surprise), then travis, who was a hardcore zpi cheerleader back in those days, stuck up for kenny. aj did not take kindly to this and began a massive troll job at travis' expense. aj was banned and that was that.

i would like to think we have all come a long way since then on a maturity level though.

Aj, yeah that was some time ago. It wasn't so much the trolling that got him banned, it was more or less the personal attacks I imagine that caused the ban.

At that time we were all learning this platform. I was growing up in the tuner scene on the tC. I've delved into modding my car before getting into the tC, but none of the hardcore stuff that I do with my tC today. The ZPI setup was my first intro to boost. The guy behind it was helping me out and got me started on my knowledge of boost. It wasn't until I took a step back and looked at how my friends were being treated and the constant bad vibe trails being left behind that I distanced myself from the situation.

With my PTuning setup I have now, I understand what "true" quality is. It is absolutely leaps and bounds above what my old ZPI setup was. Even after I revised the ZPI setup with higher quality connections and gear it's still not on the same level.
