EBC install, couple questions

EBC install, couple questions
Just got my Gizzmo IBC
on the solenoid side of the install, Currently My wastegate has one vac line coming from the intake manifold to the wastegate(Tee'd in). The diagram shown in the instructions shows it using both nipples on the wastegate. Can anyone clear this up for me? When my tuner installed a MBC he just cut the existing line, and installed it inline. Thats how I thought this would be installed.
Also here is the instructions for the install, I have an external WG as they show 2 different ways of installing it.
