lol, I wouldn't be surprised if he was running like 13.99's.

 

From what i heard, he actually blew his motor thats why he somewhat built it.

 

It just gets better and better I see. How do you spend money on building a motor, and then buy a cheap **** turbo kit?

 

I found it funny that he was saying that I was dumb for driving all the way to PTuning to get tuned. The way I see it, I spent $450 for that tune, which is perfect, no CEL, no stumbles, runs great, etc. And then he on the other hand, paid at least $300 at NoLimit, $300 at RIPPMods, and $300 at his 3rd tuner. So he was too dumb to realize that he spent almost $1000 (if not more) for tunes, while I spent $450.


No wonder he got all ____y when I told him his car probably ran like crap.

 

The funny thing is that my team member says LT has dyno that everyone there has used but him. Either he doesn't want anyone to see his numbers or he's scared to show anyone his true numbers

 

Let me get this right

1. you bought a used turbo kit
2. you installed it yourself
3. you expected the shop/tuner to check for problems, did you ask them to do this? Shops don't just do this they do what you ask.
4. piggybacks are completely different than standalone ecus and the ecu relearns and still modified the tune with a piggyback. It may not happen immediately but it does happen over time. A piggy back is just + or - over stock ecu.
5. all tuners do not put a load on to tune (it is the best way but isn't done) some tune on dynojets which have no load. A mustang dyno has load.

Has you car been retuned? Has the issues been fixed?

Yeah i told my boy dont even bother racing him. Even if he is faster its too much of a risk. Its not worth him risking getting his car stolen, damaged, and/or taken away by the cops. Especially after he just spent money on his paint job and turbo kit

Good. It's well worth the trip. Just plan on leaving early as hell in the morning, because they're going to want to have your car for the full day (in case things don't go accordingly). My car was on their dyno from 11am-6pm lol.

Me too, I'm taking that ride with cwatz., hope they have time to check out my car..... My car got tune by nolimit and I still have a CEL..... And I change me o2 sensor

 

Hey maybe you guys can help me. I seem to be having some issues with my tranny. For some reason it gets stuck in 1st gear even with the clutch pedal slammed to the ground. Also if the car ir rolling at like 10-15mph and i try to put it into 2nd it wont go in unless i really froce it in there and the same goes for trying to get it out of 1st when it gets stuck. It was doing the samething before when i had the stage 4 cc clutch before that blew. I now have a stage 3 clutch with only 700 miles on it. I think it might be something with my tranny. I have the redline mt90 fluid in there and yes my mechanic did bleed the clutch after he installed the ss clutch line. I think it might be my slave cylinder gong bad. What do you guys think it could be?
