Emanage on Supercharger
Anyone trying this: Greddy Emanage on the TRD Supercharger. Maybe tune it alittle different and get back that torque we so much lose during the reflash. Maybe a tune from emange, of course a dyno tune; be better than the reflash, as far as power. I know that the reflash is a reliable reprogramming of the ECM, but thats not my question. So please no warranty responses. Thanks
yea, I'm looking into getting the Emanage here real shortly. Maybe get a base tune from ZPI. As far as power though, I'm not sure how much of the hp could be changed, but I'm sure its possible to get that torque up there in the 200's
i'm thinking it might be install error.
for those who have emanage ultimate, did u install it yourself or u had someone do it? my tuner for my bro's RSX actually recommends using Greddy's EMU over Unichip. EMU is the closest to standalone.
btw, my tuner jason is well known, esp in TX. he's tuned MANY EMS's.
another issue it could be that the TC ECU is rejecting the piggyback's tuning. piggybacks only trick the ECU's a/f signals, and the stock ECU will reject the tune and do whatever possible to try to get it back to a 14.2 a/f. thats a problem with using any piggyback with the latest, newer cars.

so "05-RS1", Greddy Emanage basic unit should work well right? Cuz I know you tune the tC when you turbo charge it, especially the turbo kits from ZPI use the E-manage. My boy zen who had a Turbo tC was using the Greddy E-manage to tune the tC. But best results would be a dyno tune, correct??

if you are going to turbo or supercharge, you should be ready to spend money on an EMS and good tuner if you want to have a good running car that wont have problems for as long as possible. you shouldnt spend $3k+ on a turbo and not have the right EMS for it. its one of the most vital pieces to having a great running turbo car. it ultimately determines how much power you can really put out.

The camcon is absolute junk for a f/i car. I tried it right when it first came out on my turbo xB and lets just say I wasnt the happiest person with Power Enterprise lol.

The AEM is the only one that I know of. Keep in mind that a standalone won't be as friendly towards a daily driver than a piggyback. I think personally I'm either going to go with unichip or more likely emanage ultimate when they get the timing bugs worked out with it. All the supercharged guys too would probably prefer an ultimate over a normal emanage later on if you're going to do engine work because you could raise that rev limiter up because anybody with a supercharger, especially one with a pulley knows that this car just keeps pushing all the way to redline.
