Does anyone know of a engine block heater for the TC. I'm scared that the supercharger is going to die with this 15 degree weather.

I don't know of one specifically for the tC, but am sure a generic model would work fine.

 

I think you sould be ok with the cold weather. I wouldnt go crazy boosting it though. Stay out of boost and I dont think any harm will be done. Let it warm up really good too.

I wouldnt boost at all on my car. Thats me though. I called Turbonetics on this issue and they said that I would be perfectly fine just dont go nutz. I still dont boost when its cold.

 

thats crazy after ur car is fully warmed up u can boost, the cold weather is actually good for ur car.

Well this is what I was told. Cold weather means leaner AFR's. And as we all now Lean+Boost= 1 ____ed off driver.

 

So seems i drive my car mostly at night cause i work graveyards and it has been getting down to negative 34 some night with the wind chill boost would be really bad i haven't been driving my car lately seems how it is in the shop but just wondering

 

this is true Dedication to my scion....Its supposed to get cold and icy here tonight...and I only have a one car garage...so what do i do?? easy...Pull my dads porsche 4S out and pull my scion in...lol but Shhh ha ha ha

I gotta admit I am surprised Toyota didn't design a block heater for the TC. Most of their other models its an option from the factory
