k i got the aem cai and the concept g tanabe exaust on...now for my header...couple of questions....i know im gonna get the dc one...now is it gonna make ALOT more noise? will i see any gain? and how hard is to install? OH! and also im looking for some good brakes,pads, rotors, n calipers anyone know where to get all these? cheap ? =P

Oh, and as for the 'noise' issue with the headers, there is an additional part that goes on the exhaust(?) to fix that; if not, it'll make what people call a ricey (raspy) noise from the exhaust that alot of us don't like. I forget what it's called though, maybe a resonator?

Welcome! And this ain't exactly 'Forced Induction' either, it's more like 'Drivetrain & Power', just for future reference.

 

Yes its a resonator, the DC header will make a ton of rasp, so get a 24"-30" resonator welded in at an exhaust shop to make it sound good. Oh and please search, I've answered this same exact question at least 3 times in the last 2 days.

 

wait k so first..what is the resonator...and without it..will it be hella loud or something? cuz i dont want that.

 

Without a resonator, there will be a lot of raspiness like you hear on a lot of civics, think bees in a trash can. So to avoid this, you get one welded in at a muffler shop or something.
