Question exhaust upgrade on open dump set up

so i have a custom made 2.25inch exhaust from when i was n/a and am lookin at goin 2.5 or 3inch to add a little power...my question is since i'm running open dump will i benefit since any exhaust gases after i make 7psi are shot out the dump tube or is that not how it works?

you wont benefit much going to 2.25 to 2.5 at 7 psi! you should jump from 2.25 to 3inch if you ever raise you boost so you wont have so much back pressure. so if your staying with 7 psi you can go to 2.5 but wont be that big of improvement.

open dump should give you the most power if anything. Thats what im currently running. I have a dezod 2.5 turboback exhaust i took of the car. I can definatly feel the difference in power.
