Factory tC Injectors
Just out of curiousity for those who have tried it, how far can you go boost/hp wise on the factory tc injectors before they max out, with fuel man of course.
I remember hearing of people running like 7 psi on a stage 0 making 230 whp which is aroudn all i plan to do - although i def will have fuel management - i dont trust the factory ecu in any way shape or form
ive only been running it since march. the previous owner has had it for i think 1 year. intercoolerless the entire time. its running very well, only problem i have right now is my oil return line which i just need to get installed. i dont have a wideband yet. and no dyno yet, waiting for emanage.
but i need to do many things this summer for it if all goes well.

the stock injectors might do some on low boost, you should be good
but bov and engine management i say is a must.. no IC will compromise power, just tune it rich and retard some to reduce risk of detonation

So do you have experience with either eng man hardware? Im thinking of going with f/ic but plan to mostly road tune myself as it seems to be the best option to work out all the loittle niches you only hit on the road - just wondering which software will be easier to learn - i know plenty about tuning and what im doing - just not much of the software itself - form the shots ive seen of the f/ic it looks like its pretty easy to figure out.
low boost you should be fine and like ace said no ic will compromise power but a bov is needed as you dont want compressor surge! and yeah unless you have a proficient fic tuner near you i would go with emanage less power and you can learn it quick and tune yourself! same with fic but harder to learn. GL!
So to throw even more fuel on the fire - ive decided to be a man and get 550cc injectors along with my fic or emanage - havent decided which one yet - but heres the deal - all my turbo components except injectors/fuel man are on the way and will be here by end of next week. The tial wastegate i ordered i got a choice of 2 springs for it - yes 2
So my idea is ill get my injectors and eng man in mid july but if i ran a .25 bar (3.63 psi) spring in my wastegate for now would i be ok to run without fuel man / injectors? I know people were running 5-6 psi ont he stage 0 so i was thinking as long as i go easy on it - and stick with ~4 psi i should be ok? Than once i egt injectors and fuel man in mid july 9 psi here i come
Edit - and just fyi i will have a wideband in the car already so ill be able to easily monitor a/f and also a boost guage so no i wotn be running blind
