Default Finally boosted on TRD ecu ;-)

Sooo, after a long time of deliberation, i've finally pieced together my custom kit. I'll post pictures tonight when i get back to my car. As some of you know i was selling a kit for $700 shipped, but people didn't seem to be interested. So i pieced the following together:

Dezod manifold
tial wastegate
greddy BOV
dezod hot side IC piping
custom cold side piping
blow thru
e-bay intercooler
e-bay turbo .63 A/R exhaust .70 A/R compressor (rebuilt with Garrett internals)
440cc injectors
TRD flashed ecu

I will say that the car pulls some mad timing to keep it safe, but the car pulls very nicely. The main reason i'm using the TRD ecu is because I have a unicip and the performance shop by has no openings until the last week of May. So until then, i'm going to be running this set up.

Its pretty cool that it feels like a stock boosted setup. Never understood why people don't run this type of setup more often. :-)

congrats on making a thread that will end in u being flammed....the trd tuned ecu is not the way to go buddy, and the unichip isnt either....

im gonna let you in on a little secret...your NEVER going to make power using that ecu and u will ALWAYS have ur tune messing up

btw might u start saving for a new motor cuz if u keep boosting on just ecu ur going to need one..

take my word for it...believe me i used to be the guy in ur shoes

^^ i know i've followed your threads my friend. Let people say what they're going to say. :-) I've been watching the AFR's closely. I got sick of the arrogance of some people on this board. So decided to check it out for myself. I never said its the BEST way to boost, but as long as the numbers work, thats mostly what matters. LOL but i forgot, you're the "God" of scions LOL. Wait a min, weren't you the one who was racing in the rain at 120mph??

I hope this doesn't get locked. I want to read OPs post which explains why him and the mad scientist have to tear apart his block and replace the piston rings that he fried.

Yes, I went there.
