Thinking about some lightweight flywheel, i cant decide if I should go with the competition 9lbs or 12 lbs.. Anyone want to share feedbacks on both? or any recommendation for other brand flywheels?
having less rotational mass, anyone notice change in boost level/response?

I am curious as well. I have the F1 Racing 11.4lb flywheel, OBX crank pulley, balance shaft delete, a/c delete. Im an anxious to see how she feel but I have yet to get her back on the road.

I will be having balance shaft delete + lightweight flywheels so Im not sure how bad rpms drops between shifts.. im sure it would do great with foot on the throttle
i have the fidanza flywheel with balance shafts deleted. i honestly cant tell you how it feels cause i dont have anything to compare it to as far as rpm dropping and what not.
Sounds like you have a problem with your car.
If I remember correctly, I have the CC flywheel. Been so long ago since I installed it, I can't remember...lol. Like mentioned before, nothing to compare to so, not much help in giving feed back.
IMO,
if you are street driving and drag racing then you want the higher weighted flywheel to store energy for launches etc.
Track racing a lighter weight flywheel will translate into faster acceleration and less strain on the engine.

Maybe a 12 lbs flywheel is a better option for me as I will still use it on the street and do launches from dig
12 lbs I think is deff better

I've got a 12lb, def. a huge difference over stock. Couldn't tell you the difference in how fast you make boost because I had the flywheel put on right before I went turbo. Though rpm's do drop alot faster between shifts so you have to stay on the gas quite a bit more than stock.

I have flatfoot shifting installed so my foot is always on the throttle, now its now more on how soon i could engage the clutch.. 12 prolly is a better overall upgrade but ill look into it more
IF the fly wheel is too light the car is a mission to drive as well. When I bought my FX600 I actually made sure they gave me lightened steel one. I think it was like 10lbs lighter or something.
