fuel pump challenge
dezod is $105 for a walbro and ebay is $89, do the math. i just bought an "ebay" walbro (which BTW is a true walbro 255 with metal gears, filter, wire connector, etc) and have nothing but great things from it.
most people consider anything bought off ebay is an ebay product. I was just stating that it actually is a walbro. I have a local tuner shop that sells lots of items and he even told me to buy it off ebay instead of through him. SHOP FAIL!

As far as installing a walbro pump in place of the stock tc pump, you may gain a little more flow but you're not getting much out of it since the factory regulator at the pump housing in the tank is design to regulate the pressure at 47psi. So when you're running 10 psi of boost, instead of getting 57psi like what you would need for the injector to overcome the 10psi boost, you're only getting 37psi of pressure. For forced induction, you need to skip the walbro in-tank upgrade and go straight to our competition fuel system upgrade.

Stock tC FPR regulates fuel on the tC from 43-47 PSI. Even with the addition of an intank walbro, on a car around or over 300whp, there is noticeably better fuel delivery from 4500 RPMS to redline. We have seen as much as a 7-8% higher fuel delivery with no other changes what-so-ever. We have had to reduce pulse width on the setups due the the pump change even on the stock regulator. We tested this quite a few times.
To the OP and a few others, the ACT full-faced street disc that harbors all of the power is available. There are TQ capacities from 390-553 ft/lbs from ACT. All in a street full-faced disc. Prices from $453-550

thank you very much guys, i was hoping that just the fuel pump (with tune) may settle my afrs on my top end and allow me to lean out from 10afr to 11afr on my low boost areas.......

question though, how much flow do we get on the stock (healthy) fuel pump? and the stock fuel pump does meet the 47psi regulater set pressure? while i will deff look for more upgrades regarding fueling im running low on my fundage and my shopping spree is soon to come to an end....till next year....lol
