Default FULL 7psi with TRD Supercharger

What is everyone with a boost gauge and TRD Supercharger getting? I have a TRD boost gauge and the max it reads is 6. I paid for 7 and I think I may be losing that 1 psi because of the noise I'm getting from the pulley side. Although, Paul from TRD told be anywhere from 6-7is fine. Just want to get an idea of what everyone's getting or any insight? I know it might not be exactly 7 but the max it hits is 6 flat. The gauge was installed correctly. Thanks in advance for any help.

Does this noise come from the belt slipping?? This will keep you from reaching max boost for obvious reasons. Also do you have any other mods?? An intake and exhaust in theory could lower the boost pressure due to the engine breathing better and the supercharger not actually adding more air. Also what kind of gauge is this, it may not be entirely accurate.

if you're reading it off of a gauge and not some type of pressure sensor, 1 psi could be the margin of error in the gauge reading.

i'm hitting 8.3-8.7 psi on my 9 lb pulley...it's common from what i hear from others...but if ur hearing a strange noise from the pulley side...get it checked. Could be the crappy bearings or it could be as simple as the belt

I can regularly hit 8.7 to 8.9 psi with my 9.5 pulley. Im getting another BPV though and a catch can to see if that makes a difference. I only say it would possibly make a difference is because I had seen in another forum that the catch can does something with the vapors and reduces the leak from boost....
