Hey everyone, As some of you know I've been building up my tC since Feb.


Well I didnt want the SL curse to get me which is why I kept quite but she started today so I'll share some pics and info with you guys


We'll start up the parts used....Wiseco 9.0 89mm pistons, Manley rods, ACL bearings, ARP studs....

i officially hate you! lol car looks great nad set up looks killer! man i should have gotten those manley rods! they looks like beast! your set up is reallly nice man! hope you man crazy power! i want to hear how those cams are! how come you got n/a cams and not the turbo ones? upload the video already jeez!

 

supposedly the N/A make more power than the turbo ones. Thats what one of the reps at BC told me.

well i did the NA cams simple to avoid doing the whole head.....which at the time I didnt have the money for.


And I built it myself.

what do you mean if you got the turbo camS you would have to do your head? do what?

 

with the turbo cams your supposed to get some better springs and retainers not to mention youll need to set valve clearance.

 

Yes....springs, vavles, and all that junk.

All I had to do was get the bucket clearance to match spec and I'm good to go.

I love how in the one picture pulling out the motor you have your wallet and cell phone and a bunch of tools laying up on the engine bay, I thought i was the only one that did that lol

How much did all the parts cost you to get the motor built?
