Default FWD vs. RWD vs AWD: difference in feel

can somebody fill me in as to how much it is different with a FWD turbo'd car with that of a RWD/AWD turbo'd car?

i've had some experience with 240 w/ sr20det transplant with some upgrades (running stock boost) and a WRX running @ 15 psi. i know they are different cars, but the way the cars pulled was different. i was wondering how a turbo'd TC compares because i've never driven a FWD boosted car before.

AWD = better traction all around
RWD = decent traction on launch, not much on turns...that's why they're good drifting cars
FWD = not good on launch traction, better on turns, understeers though

What he said in addition to quicker 0-60 foot times in an awd vs either fwd or rwd. And yes if you want to spin cookies or drift fwd is basically useless.

a FWD w/ boost is tough b/c traction is limited on launches and in the turns. Without a good LSD, a turbo FWD driven on a road course will be tough.... as a matter of fact, most high power FWD will not fair too well against a AWD or RWD couterpart. Some understeer during corner exiting will be inevitable.....
The tricky thing about RWD is during accelerating after hard braking and a lot of weight has been transferred to the front.

i'm aware of the schematics of the difference of the three in traction and cornering, but i'm more interested in how it performs. with the 240 that i had, i felt more of the pushing force (as a RWD would do), and when compared to the WRX, the quickness was more so stable, but something you can def. feel. so i'm guessing that the FWD (granted these are all turbo'd cars), would have more of the pull affect to it. i dunno if i'm making sense.

someone take me out for a drive. i'll buy you dinner. we can date for awhile, and then...

FWD is a pull feeling
RWD is a push feeling
AWD is more stable as you said.

I'd like steak and lobster, an allowance, and no I will not put out on the 3rd date, maybe the 4th

There is so much wrong information in this thread, it's stunning. Please read the article below for a good comparison:
