In my car, I replaced the factory oil pressure sensor with the one that came with my AEM gauge. It fit just fine in the engine.

nope your in the right spot...lol

if you take the stock unit and just unplug it your gonna have a cel (no brainer there..lol) most will just buy another 1/8th npt T fitting just for the stock sensor...or you could go with a sandwich adapter.

as far as the fuel pressure sensor you could splice into the line with a brass T fitting (one with the barbs) and some clamps. also sounds like the sensor you have will need a 1/8th npt to barb fitting, so youll need a short piece of hose for that. Im sure there is a better way to do it but i havnt done it yet so i really havnt been looking...lol

To do the fuel pressure properly i would recommend tapping the end of the fuel rail for 1/8" npt. The tap and drill bit for 1/8 npt can be found at a hardware store. As for tapping the rail there is a perfect flat spot at the end of the fuel rail - REMOVE the fuel rail and do this on a bench - you DO NOT want the fuel rail pressurized with fuel while tapping it The rail is a pretty soft metal (i believe its aluminum?) So it will be fairly easy to tap - i tapped a friends for him for his nitrous setup relatively easily with a standard cordless drill. As for the oil pressure - id recommend using a 1/8" npt tee found at the hardware store to T off of the factory sensor

you want to unistall the rail before drilling i think is what he ment...it hold a little pressure so your gonna have a little fuel come out of it so you dont want to sit there and drill a hole in something that has a little bit of pressure behind some fuel...and an electric drill...yeah just not a good idea at all...lol..

When you remove the first fuel injector it will depressurize Its not ALOT of fuel and itll evaporate fairly quickly ALl you have to do to pull the rail is remove engine cover (2 10mm bolts), than remove the wiring harness form the fuel rail - it clips on - remove 4 plugs from fuel injectors and plug from vvti valve and pull back wiring harness. Than remove 2 12mm bolts holding down fuel rail - pull off fuel rail - this will come off with injectors attached - remove one injector to release pressure than remove the rest. Be sure not to let the rail spacers sitting on the head fall - they can get lost Now remove fuel line from the rail using the line removal tool - u can find it at autozone or oreilleys. You can also use a flathead screwdriver if youre talented like me :D haha Now with the rail off - tap the fitting and reinstall. I reocmmend using liquid thread sealant for any fuel fittings rather than teflon tape. Now reverse procedure to reassemble and fire up and check for fuel leaks - use vaseline on the injector seat seals to help with keeping them in place on the injector and making the seal with the head ;)
