@gammatnt

Really I was going to try kik bearings for my blower. Did you install them right or beat on it to cause it to fail. And did you get the ceramic bearings Just curious. sorry for all the questions. Lol.

Curious about this as well. It (appears) that the ceramic bearings fix most of the problems people are having.

If your oil pan and dip stick is stock then it would probably be better for you to keep oil level closer to the full mark. It should never go over the full mark. The best place for the oil level in any car to be is in between the full and low mark.

The trd oil pan comes with a longer dipstick due to the increase in oil pan size. Using the trd oil pan and dipstick, the oil should read in between the full and low mark.

Note that all oil readings I'm referring to is when the motor is cold (for both stock oil pan/dipstick and trd oil pan/dipstick.

In regards to your stock oil pan supercharged set-up, when the motor is hot, the oil should be in the middle of the full and low mark. Possibly a little lower then the mid point even.

$475 for new shaft and bearings during the group buy. You can either have a shop change out your shaft or you can send your shaft assembly to me and I will do the swap for you for a small fee. Let me know if you have any questions. Will be a pita to find all the stock parts and if you go to the dealer they will charge you over $200 just for your airbox!

i have a 2005 scion tc with a trd blower, i actually bought the blower used with 1200 miles on it from a guy in canada, it came with everything including the trd reflash ecu. about 6 months ago the seals and bearings went out on the compressor side, i did the research and found a great dyi rebuild with part numbers for seals and bearings, i did the rebuild, i messed it up....my fault, took the blower off and had it sent out to superchargerrebuilds in texas two weeks later i was boosted again.

dont go back to stock, its a hassle ordering all the parts unless you can find them used on sl or cl, just order the shaft from gompka, and the bearings aswell, the belt is cheap from nonstoptuning.com you should order the 9.5 lbs pulley at the same time
