Doesn't mean he couldn't have starved the engine somehow, maybe during a hard turn? There are many ways oil starvation can occur and all it takes is a second of no oil film to damage a bearing.

Ok guys, so I pulled the engine and I checked all of the main and rod bearings, they are perfect, still have the coating on them! I was also moving the rods around and it doesn't seem like the wrist pins have any play in them. I will be taking off the head and checking the rest of the engine tomorrow.

Holy hell at the video.

I would be looking at your cam lobes, check your cam buckets for varnish sticking or debris that might keep them from moving freely. Maybe timing chain? or guides

That is a bad noise lol

Yea it can be installed with the tranny in, its a pita to get at that stupid fitting holding the stock metal line to the slave cylinder, i had to heat it, and it still stripped a bit.

No update yet guys, waiting on parts.

just pull the oem one out and push the new one in, you'll need a lil elbow grease and thats it.

Lol, i think the valve clearances are off that thats about it, I'm dropping off the head at the shop tomorrow along with the rev stainless valves, they will be checking everything and lapping the head for me. I have been super busy and find it hard to think about the car let alone actually work on it. Also, I still have to check the oil pump also.

I had this very similar noise with my car, took it into the shop and they did a valve readjust dealing with Shims and buckets. It fixed the noise. Now 8 months later its in the shop because they never actually checked the condition of my valves... well they are bent and now thats all getting replaced. on the bright side i ran 14.8 on 50% compression!(bolt ons) lol i tried to find the plus in the situation.
