When I am at a stop just chilling, my RPM would slightly drop and sputter and then go back up, it does this several times before a long pause and does it again. Like every 1 or 2 minutes. What's up with that? I am thinking the idle needs to be tuned.

Also check your plugs too.....

sounds like plugs to me too! once you change them that goes away!

I am tuned. I will check my plugs soon. They are 2 steps colder, so not sure why there would be a problem.

I was running two steps colder...my tuner said that may have been too cold and to only go one step..which would correct the idling issues...I donno...I'm aggravated with plugs and my idling issues...

i agree! i just thought he was on stock plugs and that the issue could be that!

So, what do you suggest? I have big plans for the next year. (Paul, hush! ) So, I don't wanna go back to 1 step and then when I get things together, go BACK to 2 step colder. So, what do you guys suggest I should do in the mean time?

That may not even be the problem. I will check the plugs. But, I am a newb with plugs, how do I know if they are fouled or not? And how do I take them out? Once I learn, it's in my head forever.

Also (might be hard to understand), when I boost HARD, and then put it in neutral (because I hate downshifting), the RPM goes very low and sputters and sometimes actually dies, depending on how hard and the length the boost was I guess. Is that the same thing or does that have something to do with the MAF?

actually it sounds more like a vaccuum leak...just check your vaccum line and make sure it's capped...same thing happened to me after i got tuned...the tuners forgot to cap it after the tune

Hmm, my friend said my motor is about to blow up. I told him to quit joking around and he said he was serious. I hope he was joking...

Anyway, I will check the lines. I get so confused, I lose track of the lines, hahaha. Begins at the Wastegate or near the Throttle Body?

kinda sounds like how all cars idle here is a idea how long does it take to change plugs 30 mins change them if it fixes it your golden if not your out all of 20 bucks and half hour of your time but it kinda sounds like a vacuum leak or your paranoid

LOL, it's loud too. But, yea, thanks Cory, I will check it out. When I get my hood and exhaust and retuned, I will probably hangout with you guys more often. Have you ever even met me? I only went to a meet once.

Just change all 4 plugs to one step colder. Then check back with an update.

I was only there once, I met Jay, Chris, DJHax, Frosty Smith, CherryBox, and a few others. Not sure man, hopefully by the end of the month to early next month. I am going for a custom 3" exhaust with the HKS Carbon TI muffler, should be amazing. I am gonna try to go catless. Not sure if MAC Autosports would do that. You ever hear of them? They're in Littleton, I got tuned there by Nick.
