Ok so what turbo do you have? And 60-1 turbos at very efficient what are you talking about. And can you get all specs of your turbo. I'm very curious about I and it's potential.

The numbers that i see above seem pretty accurate for 12.5 psi with the work done on the engine and using the dyno you were on. The 460hp or whatever it was at 12.5 psi is a LONG shot. With the PTUNING turbo kit on a Dyno Dynamics dyno and a stock motor turned out 312WHP at 12psi.

Boost: 12 PSI
Fuel: 93 octane pump (No Water/Meth)
Dyno Dynamics WHP/TQ: 312.3 whp/ 304.8 ft/lb
~Dynojet WHP/TQ: 349.8 whp/ 341.4 ft/lb
~Dynpack WHP/TQ: 359.1 whp/ 350.5 ft/lb

I'm not douting the numbers i see above given the information i see. I just don't see how it's possible that you got around 460HP?

So Flo Honestly I dont give a crap about what you think honestly. I provided a VIDEO and DYNO SHEETS!!!! that provide my numbers. I have given what people wanted. I have nothing to prove to you. The people that matter to me (not you by any means) know I am telling the truth, and anyone that has followed my build (way longer than you have even had your tC) knows what is in the car. I merely posted up my numbers for the world to see and I get crapped on, well on this forum and a little bit on CSTC, wierd how I dont get crapped on on YSTC.org where people on there have way more experience than pretty much everybody that has posted. I also talked to my Tuner yesterday and he said my numbers sound pretty much right on the money (he knows whats in my car).

It was 426 BTW not 460. The motor isnt stock by anymeans either. The 60-1 is an efficent turbo as long as it is not on this Engine.

Oh ok, i had to go back and read that part again. I would like to see some of the guys from PTUNING either confirm or deny the possibility of these numbers. Too much technical mumbo jumbo if you ask me. I myself am hoping for 500-550hp when the built motor goes in and another upgrade of the turbo system. No rush right now, but it would be sick!

Yea man that would be sick. I am building this for right about the area I am at actually. The turbo is meant to provide peak performance in the powerband that is used on a roadcourse. Thats it really I dont care about big huge numbers.

Ok so why not in our motors is the 60-1 not efficient and why is your turbo so efficient in our motors. I just want to know so I can be on the same page. Plus it will help alot of 2az-fe owners on choosing a turbo.

I have done lots of research on the 2RZ toyota Tacoma forums.

No worries, Marcelo. A 60-1 is efficient. All you do is map out where on the turbo graph you'd be - given psi, VE, and rpm. At 13psi, you're right in the middle of the graph of a 60-1. Same with a 60trim.

Your turbo is very close to mine. As I see why you dont tell any one your numbers cause stupid crap like this happens. Oh well I am not losing any sleep over it. BTW the numbers are not inflated. Id say on the street the car probably pulls a consistnt 400-415 WHP on the 14PSI that I push daily.

blue you should take your car to the track - what's near you - Englishtown?

Anyhow, I'm interested in seeing your traps through the 1/4 mile.

What??

You do you mean you don't go to the drag strip to race? Or you don't do any type of racing like AutoX?

I dont drag race. The last time I was on the drag strip my balance shafts shelled (as I told you last night) and it destroyed my oil pump, main bearings, and rod bearings. I auto-X and road race. I actually have an auto-X tomorrow.

Oh and for those of you with a 60-1 one, pay no attention to what was said about it not being a good match for the 2AZ-FE.. because if blue really does have 426whp out of his 60trim with all mods that he listed, he should be at 140% VE and pushing about 44.8 lb/min which is right at the end (far right) of the turbo's efficiency range.. yes running out of efficiency. But on the 60-1, you'd still be on the map - actually near the middle fattest part of the map with plenty of room to spare.

But without your balance shafts now, that would never happen again... so again I'm confused.

I dont like the track surface. To sticky and I dont have the money to replace drive shafts. If I go to the track I am going to run 255 Slicks and I will break an axle so the easiest thing to do is stay away from the drag strip. Nothing good comes out of doing a 1/4 mile run. I find it boring and way to easy.

way to easy lol? how is it easy? but anyways if you got so much power then upgrade those axles. and you shouldnt have that problem. but anyways i prefer the drag strip beter cause i'm always trying to beat my time and seeing i can become faster but anyways. whatever everyone has there own likes and dislikes.
