Default Hello everyone. Just wanted to show off my Turbo kit

Ok so ive had this in now for about 4 months (im new to scionlife.com sorry for the delay) anyway, its a t3/t4 .57 trim Garrett turbo. and everything is custom made by myself.

Parts include:

T3/T4 Turbo
Custom Manifold
38mm Wastegate (11.6 psi)
TurboXS RFL BOV
Custom Downpipe
FMIC with custom 3" Pipes

Soon to be added to the kit:

550cc injectors (with custom fuel rail) & a Greddy Emanage

So far everything has been running really great. I havent had a lick of problems since the day i installed everything and the car pulls like no other scion i have come in contact with. Estimated dyno numbers say im making close to 300hp but i havetn had a chance to dyno it yet to get the actual numbers. I will get it dynoed once i get the new injectors and fuel computer put in.

I was thinking about selling these kits personally if anyone may be interested in a kit. Im not going to be making a lot of them but i figured if anyone is serious about turboing there car, i would be more the hapy to make up another few kits, just email me if you would like some info about my setup.

anyway just wanted to let you all know. So far so good, i couldnt be happier with my scion. the only way they could have made them better is to make it turbo from teh factory and add a 6th gear for better freeway speed. Cause damnit it really need a higher top speed.

Anyway im out,
Chris

pretty cool. But you say you're close to 300hp and have no type of fuel management yet??

Ya thats pretty crazy if you're close to that HP and no fuel management and pushing that much boost without even upgraded injectors.

Turbo looks good though.

Is 3" piping for the intercooler really necessary?

You need to start meeting up with us at the local meet and greets... our next one is at elmers near Andresen Next saturday...

Gotta do dynos, so we can see the numbers... that's a heck of a lot of boost for no A/M fuel control.

Kit looks good. I like the way you boxed in the turbo flange looks classy. Are you having any overheating problems? The turbo looks awfully close to the radiator. Polished piping looks killer coming through the bumper though.

I also am doing a custom turbo kit. Did you recirculate the bov? because I heard you have to.
Well its great to see some custom work out there, and good work.

BOV doesnt look recirculated and I dont think you have to do that. You might be thinking about the wastegate but that doesnt recirculate either.

A shop by my house turbocharged thier tc and said that you need to recirculate the bov back into the intake before the map sensor. Just what I heard.
