alright, soo i tried the gas test. didnt work. I took the power and ground wire directly to the battery and then tried the rag soaked in gas with the car off and on for about 2 minutes. does this garenttee that the sensors bad?

 

I would think so, send it back to AEM. I wouldnt drive it till you have a replacement wideband

Well this is for my friends car and he got it with a kit. do they have some sort of warrenty? thanks for help

 

local tuner was saying something about calibrating it? any ideas what the hell hes talking about?

 

He may be talking about the calibration feature in the set up menu.

 

to the fic? if soo even if that wasn't set up right, i would still be able to read gauge correct?

 

My bad, thought you were talking about setting up the fic. The wide band is already set up and ready to run right out of the box. There is not a way to adjust it. You can how ever change the read out from afr to lambda.

Get a replacement harness, might not be the brain. Summit racing sells the harness.

 

dezod or any aem dealer can get the stuff you need.

 

quickest and easiest solution to ur problem connect back the stock computer it will adjust its self and stay out of boost i should idle and drive fine just take it str8 to th tuner when u can the stock ecu and injectors car should run like stock that how i boost ever scion i do
