Default help with supercharger

well me and my dad got into a little fight about the supercharger on my tc...i said if you put the supercharger, exhaust, 9.5lb pulleys and performance headers with the trd reflash you wud be fine with your car...

then he says if you do that you will have to build the engine up, like new piston rods, etc...

so basically my question is, do i need to rebuild the engine that much? or will the stock engine with the mods i mentioned above be fine?

any help??

You'll be alright. Dont forget to get a better BPV though, otherwise your not going to be getting full boost PSI.

Honestly, Your engine will last a long time with the supercharger on a stock motor. Turbo is what kills them.
