Default help, uego reading

so i finally got my aem uego gauge all set up and working, but im new to this type of gauge and i am not sure what reading is good and what is bad. i have a trd supercharger with a 9.5 lb. pulley,, i also have the w/p lite and od alternator pullies. along with full megan drift spec exhaust and megan downpipe. so what kind of reading should i be looking for. today i noticed it hitting the low 12 when 3/4 open throttle in second, thats bad isnt it? and is it supposed to go all the way to the red and post up "---" on the readout when out of the throttle and when shifting?

Low 12's is good when your in open loop (about 70%+ throttle position). Usually high 11's to low 12's is considered good rich tune. If you want to get the most hps you will need a piggy-back system to lean it out little some. But not too much or you will get knock.

In closed loop you will notice your afr's trying to stay around 14.7 -15.2 or so, just crusing around.

I dont knwo about the s/c afr's but most turbo guys are running around 11.4-11.7 range at wot. As long as its doesnt go above 12.4ish at wot, then I'd say your ok.

and when the gauge goes...."----".....that means it's either too Rich to read, or too Lean to read. When you let off the gas, you close the throttle plate. Therefore, the air that was rushing into the engine is no more, so the wideband will read the "----".

What about when the car has been sitting for a while and it does that cold start where it revs up a bit and tries to find a good idle? Should it be reading those same "---" AFR's?

The ECU is on open loop 3 (when you rev's are above idle on cold start) Eric-TC has a post about this. Your afr's will be jumping around waiting for your O2 sensor to warm up. Once the motor is warmed up then the ECU will try to keep the afr's around 14.7 - 15.3 (Closed Loop mode)

^^What he said. Wait till it warms up, otherwise it's normal when the car is still cold for the A/F's to be jumping around, and occasionally go "----".
