I like it , the only issue I have is that I cant advance my timing , so it only acts as a cooler and not a way to run more timing .

sorry i didnt specify , it is a t3/t4 .48 a/r t3 turbine

the reason I didnt go FMIC is because this is my GFs car and dont want the complex design to keep me working on her car " I have my own turbo and s/c trucks to keep me busy"

I added the toluene to 9-10 gallons of 93 oct. so my octane rightnow is 95+ whatever the methanol is bumping it to . I am trying to keep the knock sensor from having to pull timing .

toluene mix for 103 octane is for every 3 gallons of 93 one gallonof toluene. it can be found at sherwin williams. what mix are you doing with the water methyl? what %? adding the water injection you could run more boost what are your afr's

well i know that you have to refill the resevour all the time and i wasnt sure if that was very cost effective. im compairing it to the pwr inline chargecooler. i really dont want an fmic and if i dont have to i dont want to have to plumb anything. i just need some cooling for my boost!

well the PWR would definately be more efficient for cooling the charged air , but I am also using this as a supplemental fuel source . I go through a gallon of washerfluid once every 2.5 weeks which is about $1.50 . so it isnt very bad I dont think . plus it keeps the carbon buildup from being created in the engine .
