Did you ever end up racing the car?

 

^^ no the sun never came out so track didnt open due to low track temps. , but i will be out there this wed. weather permitting .

^^ thats the plan , the only thing that is changed from the first post is I am running straight 93 octane .

what methyl injection system are u using? what are you using to tune it and/or your fuel?

 

I made my own kit , and I am using stock ecu . I do have a wideband running and its consistant between high 11s low 12s , the only problem is that sometimes after 6k rpm it goes up to 12.6-12.7 which kinda scares me but other than that it does good.

 

what about tuning the meth? whats ur setup that u built?

 

all I have is a shureflow pump with a m2 nozzle coming on at 4lbs . its just a cheap setup , im not out to break records . I had read a post a few months back about the ZPI kit not being able to run 13s without fuel management , so I figured I would give it a shot . so i built a simple turbo kit and installed it on my GFs car . we should see tonight if its possible for me to hit 13s on 6lbs boost with stock injectors and no FMIC .

Good luck man 13's though... 6 psi... not gonna happen in my opinion with that turbo. But the car should be fun to drive on the street and man she must have instaboost on the 2.4L!

 

well only got 14.24 @ 99.69 60' was 2.2 . traction was a big problem , ill talk tom.

 

those are good numbers for just 6psi.

 

Hey that is really not that bad man....few more times at the track and you will see the 13's!!

 

at 6 psi you went about .3 faster than I thought. GOOD JOB!

 

What kind of tires are you running on

 

I was running stock tires , the car was wheelhopping so bad it felt like the axles were going to snap . if I had some decent tires I think 13.9 would have been possible . 99 mph could easily be a 13 second pass .

but no excuses here , Im happy ...... for now lol

 

Get engine mounts or an engine damper. HELP A LOT! yep.
